Brazilian visual artist and graphic designer, working in editorial design, visual identity, and print publications for educational and cultural projects.
Passionate about lines, drawing, paper, typefaces, books, and good encounters. I work in the territory between graphic design, visual arts, and independent publishing, with a special interest in the materialities of printed publications and their poetic potential, in manual work, and in collaborative processes. I investigate narratives that are constructed in encounters—between people, materials, and contexts—and that reveal themselves throughout the process.
Master’s degree in Contemporary Typographic and Editorial Practices from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2024), Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from ECA/USP (2008) and technical degree in Graphic Design from ETE Carlos de Campos (1998). Throughout my career, I have moved between the corporate sector — as a partner and design director at Prompt Filmes, in São Paulo — and an authorial practice dedicated to editorial projects, independent print publications, and cultural and artistic projects.
Since 2012, I have been developing projects that intersect or traverse public space and the book as poetics, embroidery, and participatory art. This journey includes the collectives Amar.é.linha and Desejos Urbanos, the creation of illustrated books since 2017, a continuous production of independent publications and artist’s books, as well as training activities in editorial design, handmade book art, embroidery, and urban poetry.
Between 2018 and 2020, I was editor and designer of Linguará — a magazine for the Portuguese language. And I collaborated as a designer and illustrator with the Gerador Association in Portugal, between 2018 and 2024.
I work between Lisbon and São Paulo and I am the creator of reVOAr: a mobile atelier-library of disobedient books, a project that articulates circulation, artistic mediation and publishing practices, expanding the possibilities of encounters between books, people and territories.
