Linguará Magazine

Conception, graphic design and layout of Linguará — a magazine for the Portuguese language.

Created in 2018 in partnership with Carla Paoliello and Maria José Amorim, Linguará was born as a transatlantic magazine, dedicated to investigating and celebrating the encounters, deviations, and crossings of languages in Portuguese.

Organized alphabetically, each edition takes a letter as its starting point. From there, Lusophone authors, artists, and thinkers are invited to contribute texts and images, creating a diverse, rich, and constantly evolving landscape.

The publication is structured in four bound booklets, allowing the reader to rearrange the pages, remove sheets, and transform them into A3-sized posters—an invitation to expanded reading and handling of the editorial object.

Between 2018 and 2020, I was responsible for curating and editing (in partnership with Carla and Maria José), as well as graphic design and layout, developing editions A, B, C, D, and E.
