The Point of the Story

The Point of the Story began with a wait.

In 2015, we placed posters featuring detachable micro-stories at four bus stops across the city of São Paulo. Each story was designed to be torn out, taken away and slipped into a pocket, so that, together with the passenger, it could journey through the city’s routes, routines and dreams.

From this experiment, which lasted around three months and featured 12 short stories – six of mine and six by Eliza Freire – we put together a booklet that also included detachable stories.

Here are a few I’ve drawn.

The Point of the Story is an initiative by Desejos Urbanos held in 2015 in São Paulo.
