The Houses That Inhabit Me is a limited-edition publication comprising twelve silkscreen prints, each housed in an address envelope — every one of them screen-printed, stamped and folded by hand. A series of gestures that build up, layer upon layer, as if constructing a house that might just be possible.
Created during the 11th Self-Publishing Course at Oficina do Cego, between spring and summer 2025, this project emerged from comings and goings, missed connections and reunions, embraced mistakes and persistent fresh starts. Between forced pauses and the urgency to carry on, between life simply being life, between the here and now.
I think it’s a work still in progress: an attempt to revisit the places that inhabit me — on the walls, on my skin, in my actions, in my heart, in my memory, in my journey.
A modest and heartfelt glimpse into a forthcoming book.
